TN: 2000 Quinault L'Enclos

Like others have done recently, I have been sampling through a few of my 2000 Bordeaux producers that I felt should be entering a good place. And I certainly found one last night. The 2000 Quinault L'Enclos was absolutely singing! This has an abundance of fresh and concentrated ripe fruit flavors, held together by a healthy structure. The tannins are definitely there, but they integrate very nicely with the fruit right now. RP gave this wine 94 points with a drinking window of 2006-2018. I tried my first one a year ago, and it was just then coming into its own. I agree that it is around a 94 point wine; however, it has many more than two years of good drinking ahead of it.

This property seemed to be doing good stuff back around 98, 99, 00, then I kind of lost track of them over the years.
