The 2011 Chambolle-Musigny Les Drazeys from Louis Jadot is better today than 3 years ago. I would say it is not the most profound but it is precise in the mix of oak, terroir and pinot noir. Color is medium cleat red. Nose is nice, charming, bewitching. Slightly burned oak, vanillin, red berries, confit rasberries, light spices, cinnamon, sweet cherries. Fragrant nose. In mouth, dark red berries, with more little red fruit, oak. Delicate mouth, but good presence and long slightly austere and mineral finish, with soft tanins. Maybe some green tobaco leaves on the very end. An excellent village Bourgogne. TN: 90.

Leftover tonight was even better. I love Chambolle.

Sounds nice, Nic. I never had a Les Drazeys. Jadot's is a Domaine wine, isn't it?

Yes, this is a wine from the Domaine Gagey, as it is vinegrown, harvested, made and aged there.
