A quick hello
I'm new here, joined on a recommendation from a friend. I've just returned from Bordeaux (to England). I'm still very new to the world of nice wine (a couple of years) and am activly improving my knowledge all the time.
Re: A quick hello
Welcome! Did you have a chance to visit some chateaux while in Bordeaux?

Re: A quick hello
Thanks, no unfortunately I didn't. The plan was to do so but when I arrived I had no internet and no way of knowing how to go about it. I'll be a lot more prepared when I return
Re: A quick hello
FWIW
I invited Ant to join.
He is an avid cyclist I know from a cycling forum.
Resides in Kent, Great Britain.
He was extolling the virtues of the 2005 Clos du Marquis to a bunch of gear heads, and I told him to come meet some real wino's.
Anyone who likes baby LLC is OK with me.

Re: A quick hello
A recommendation from Rob is as good as gold in these parts. Welcome.

Re: A quick hello
Thanks Rob for the invite and thanks everyone else for the welcome. I bought a few bottles of Clos Du Marquis, both the 2002 and the 2005. I've drunk one of each and enjoyed them both.
