A quick hello

Post by AntLockyer »

I'm new here, joined on a recommendation from a friend. I've just returned from Bordeaux (to England). I'm still very new to the world of nice wine (a couple of years) and am activly improving my knowledge all the time.

Welcome! Did you have a chance to visit some chateaux while in Bordeaux?

Thanks, no unfortunately I didn't. The plan was to do so but when I arrived I had no internet and no way of knowing how to go about it. I'll be a lot more prepared when I return :)

FWIW
I invited Ant to join.
He is an avid cyclist I know from a cycling forum.
Resides in Kent, Great Britain.
He was extolling the virtues of the 2005 Clos du Marquis to a bunch of gear heads, and I told him to come meet some real wino's.
Anyone who likes baby LLC is OK with me.

Thanks Rob for the invite and thanks everyone else for the welcome. I bought a few bottles of Clos Du Marquis, both the 2002 and the 2005. I've drunk one of each and enjoyed them both.
