Just ordered the last 5 bottles in stock at the Wine House in L.A., CA.
I was at a fancy wedding on Cape Cod last weekend, hanging out with a bunch of top GE billionaire execs, and the bottle of this wine was a favorite among my Bords, Brunellos, etc., that I brought for the weekend.
Having a bottle with a sirloin tonight, very delicious.
And will last for 20+ years!
Boy, this 2012 St. Innocent Momtazi is the real deal...

2012?
It is exciting to see St I excitement here. My Momtazi's are sleeping and I do not have much tasting experience with this vineyard yet.

Update on 2012 St Innocent Momtazi:
Tonight I pulled a bottle from a warmish (64F) part of my largest wine room. It is dumber than it was six months ago. The fruit and tar comes out after a lot of air, so be sure to give it plenty of oxygen if you try one now.
Reference Point: The last great vintage of SI PNs, 2008, closed down hard and quickly with just 2-3 years of age. When the 2012s got past that time I thought they might stay open. My experience tonight suggests that they might shut down. No matter; they will be great again in a few years. In case you don't have older vintages, 2014s are open and pretty good and mostly available.
