En passant I tasted some clarets in our local supermarket recently. Some quick impressions. BTW, all wines have 13% alcohol:
2012 Cantemerle, a disappointment, lacks fruit, a bit one-dimensional, and a bit too thin, not worth the price, €22.
2011 Sociando-Mallet, outstanding, beautifully balanced, delicious, complex fruit, long finish, very approachable already, €36.
2012 Aria du Château de la Rivière, more on the modern side, a little bit overoaked, but excellent fruit, €22.
2012 Belgrave, excellent, good concentration, elegant, well balanced, €22.
2012 D'Agassac, more closed than the other wines, but very good and worth the price, €14.

Re: Some quick impressions
Rudi,
Thanks for sharing. All in the "sweet spot" value for money category.
You make me want to visit Belgrave. I believe it's the only classified growth I've never been to, and their wines are consistently good.

Re: Some quick impressions
I'm seeing d'Agassac more in our area nowadays, on the retail shelves.
