Bordeaux Wine Enthusiasts

1 - I am in for something every night that people are around and up for getting together. Nalan can join us Fri, Sat and even Sun. We will stay at a hotel in SF for Sat, but other nights we will commute to where we live in San Jose (train and Uber).

2 -I would be up for an old wine dinner - 1920s? 1950s?

3 - Danny: you're welcome to park your car at our driveway in San Jose or Napa.

4 - Kevin and Julie are old friends of mine. They live in Chicago.

There will be some cancellations but with those theee added in we are about at the 40 person limit.

Business at the end of 2016 sucked big time for me, so our attendance is in jeopardy at this point.
Cash flow was negative for the last two months (hmm, strangely coincides with a major event in the USA).
Mary is already telling me we can't afford to go, with a kitchen renovation project looming this year.

I too am game for stuff each night of the convention- Weds thru Saturday in my case.

I'd enjoy an old wine theme, but for me that would mean stuff from the 70's or the early 80's.

Booked my flight for Wednesday through Sunday. I'll be arriving mid-afternoon on Wednesday.

I just bought my ticket too! I get in around 3PM on Weds.

I'm due to arrive at 2:37pm on Wednesday, we can catch a cab.

I'd love to do an old wine theme but I unfortunately do not get in until Thursday morning. So Wednesday night is out for me.

Friday and Saturday night dinners are sorted! I'll start a separate thread specifically for payment logistics. As I mentioned earlier, they will have hard limits, so you will want to send your checks to hold your spot early.

Glad to see people coming in on Wednesday. As I mentioned upthread, I was thinking of having people over to my place in SF Wednesday night for some old wines and casual hanging out (no cost, no dinner).

Unfortunately Joanne and I will not be able to attend.

It looks like Gail and I will have a family obligation that weekend and will be unable to attend.

Sorry you guys can't join us Glenn and Tom, we'll catch you at some point in 2017.

Eddie has done a great job planning out our Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
This laves flexibility for Thursday, when we sometimes break up into a separate dinner or two.
Perhaps this might be a good night to do a Bordeaux v. California dinner?
