Anyone want to visit Ridge Monte Bello on Thursday 3/23?

My brother and I are planning to rent a car for some winery visits on Thursday during the Convention. I'd really like to visit Ridge's Monte Bello vineyard and winery in the Santa Cruz mountains, and reservations are required on week days.

If others are interested, I can make a group reservation and we can explore renting a larger vehicle to hold more of us. We can make a day of it and visit other wineries in the Santa Cruz area like Mount Eden. We plan to be back in downtown San Francisco in plenty of time for Thursday dinner.

Sounds like a great idea and we'd be up for it on Friday but not arriving on Thursday til 1pm so Thursday is out for us. If you change the day then....

Hi Danny,

We can shift the trip to Friday, instead of Thursday. We'll just have to factor in weekend rush hour traffic for the drive back into town, but my understanding is the traffic is much lighter between Santa Cruz and SF than it is for Sonoma or especially Napa...

I will go ahead a make a tasting reservation at Ridge for the Friday for 8 people, just in case others decide to join in later.

This will be fun and the views are supposed to be spectacular.

We'll see who's interested. As of now I have a car rented and it will be parked out by the airport for the weekend and if its just 4 then we can use that to go back and forth...just need to UBER to get it.
