It's hard to pick against Belichick and #12.
I'm going to go with 41-20, Pats.

I chear for the Falcons, but the Pats are balanced and impressive.

So let say 34-24 for the Tea Party team.

I root for the underdogs but expect the expert cheaters to win.

IMO pats defense is good, but not to the level of what's talked about. I still see problems in the pats' front five protection of brady.

I would say Falcons by 6, 30-24...

Of course I have to pick the Pats but I think it's going to be a closer game than your score indicates. For some reason I just can't get as exited about the Pats defense as others. I've seen Ryan get beat too many times and think he's grossly overrated as a cornerback. The Falcons scare the hell out of me and if Matt Ryan is on his game it could be a tough night.

I believe the Pats will win in a squeaker, 27-24

All I can say is Wow! As I said earlier, I thought it would be close and the Falcons outplayed us for 3 quarters. Just an incredible game for the ages.

Turnovers and smarts. Pats lost the one stat but capitalized on a huge one in their favor and then benefitted from two very poor decisions by the Falcons. But really it came down to the Pats played better for 35 minutes (after having payed terribly the first half) and the Falcons played better for 30 minutes and that's an advantage you can't give to Brady & Co.

Effectively, what a game! And I like football for that: this seems to me like the only sport that when the wind turn side, any team can win!

Congratulations to the Pats!

A rollicking ride! Congratulations to the Patriots.

On the Patriots side, Brady magic and a never-say-die confidence is what won it for them.

Lack of big-game experience led to poor decisions that were IMO the game changers for the Falcons:
1) Holding penalties by their secondary on three consecutive third downs led to an early Patriots score.
2) Late in the game, Ryan holding the ball too long on two consecutive third downs. The first led to a fumble and NE TD, the second torpedoed Atlanta's chance to ice the game with a FG.
