Please let me know quickly.

Nothing seems to be planned yet, but I am game. Could be a good night for Napa vs Bordeaux.

we were planning going to Napa Thursday to Friday, but did not reserved anything yet.

If there is interest for something that night, we might go for it instead of the Vallée.

I don't mind the idea of keeping Thursday night a little flexible.
I'd like to do a dinner drinking Champagne, Bordeaux, Sauternes.

We're easy for Thursday. It's going to be a long travel day and with time change will be a late night for dinner on our clock. So far we're going to play it by ear and likely early dinner then crash unless something/someone twists our arms.

Any thoughts about the ratio of bubbles to Bordeaux for this? It could be fun to have a flight of 4 or 5 champagnes to kick things off.

I am certainly in favor of doing several bottle of Champagne - taking our time with two flights of 2 or 3 bottles each.

Finally, Jean-Frédéric and I will drive to Napa and stay one night there. We'll see you all on Friday. Let me know if there is a pre-dinner party on Friday!

aww too bad you won't be able to hang out with us in SF on Thursday night, Nic.
What's so special about being in Napa on a Thursday night that will pull you away from your BWE buds?
A Thursday night dinner in Napa is not going to be any more special than a Thursday night dinner in Napa Valley.

We couldn't pass by Northern California without stopping a few hours in Napa...and have a bit of rest to be ready for the following days! Don't worry, we'll get plenty of time Friday and Saturday. And later in 2017.
