Only one bottle of wine this weekend, as I had a very nice dinner Saturday on meal/beer match. It was an excellent, at the limit fancy dinner. Very interesting association of beer with each of the four services.

Tonight, with indian butter chicken with tandoori and garam masala, I opened a Côtes du Jura made from chardonnay, the 2014 Domaine Baud cuvée Flor. Very nice nose of yellow fruit, light nut tones, a bit of muscad, fresh honey, simple nose but fragrant. In mouth, a very nice wine with a good intensity. Flavors of green apple skin, minerals, light spices and very light oxydative notes. Long green apple finish, with light flowers. Good acidity, nut skin mid-palate. Nice and went well with the creamy tomato butter sauce, aromatized by the two masala. Tn: 87-88.

A distinctive and very good chardonnay.
