LYNCH vs. BARON IV: EARTHQUAKE IN SAN FRANCISCO

Post by JimHow »

ASSOCIATED PRESS

* * * * FLASH * * * *

Lewiston, Maine (AP)

Unnamed but reliable sources reported that internationally renowned lawyer and philanthropist Jimmy "Lynch 'The Next Lafite' Bages" How was seen arriving this morning at the Portland "International" (Rolls Eyes) Airport and immediately whisked into a limousine motorcade some thirty miles north to this quiet central Maine city.

Several local residents confirmed to reporters that the How entourage was seen entering quickly into the How compound.

Shortly thereafter, to the surprise of most in attendance, presidential press secretary Sean Spicer exited with a hurried announcement:

"At this time, I can confirm that Mr. How has indeed returned from a recent trip abroad and is resting comfortably after a long flight. I can further confirm that Mr. How will be making an announcement tomorrow morning concerning the Thursday night dinner at the upcoming convention of Bordeaux Wine Enthusiasts in San Francisco, California. We will make no further statements at this time, unless Fox News or Sean Hannity have any questions."

Rumors began to spread about a possible fourth battle between the 1989 Lynch "The Next Lafite" Bages and 1989 Pichon "The Purple Baron" Baron, but no more details were forthcoming from the compound as night fell....

As judge of procedure (not outcome), I hearby announce that three famed chateau from the peerless commune of Pauillac from the heralded vintage of 1989 will square off in a blind flight at BWE SF 2017. The contestants: 1989 Pichon Lalande, 1989 Pichon Baron, and the 1989 Lynch Bages.

Sniffs will be sniffed, sips will be sipped, notes will be scribbled, money will change hands, and a ranking of the three wines will be gathered by yours truly from the assembled panel before the wines are unveiled.

So it is spoken. So it shall be done.

Yeah, yeah, this contest is OBVIOUSLY so RIGGED.
Clearly, the delicate Comtesse will be much more forward and open than the two brooding heavyweights.
RIGGED!

Last time as I recall Jimmy "Lynch 'The Next Lafite' Bages" How in the DC Tommy basement knockout event couldn't even identify the heralded Lynch and the purple Baron won by a decisive knockout.....or am I mistaken!!!

* * * * FLASH * * * *

Saguenay, Québec

The last fight between the 1989 "Poor man Lafite" and the 1989 "Purple Baron"? After so many events, and many rounds won by Lynche, some are really starting to say that some of these events were "arranged", "fake" or "falsified". This time, the Baron, as secret as he as ever be, has prepared something like Bowie's "Black Star" cd: unexpected, intriguing and respecting no rules. With a new manager/trainer called J-Fred "no" Mercil, some say the "Purple Wonder" did some training in northern Russia, with the blessing of President Trump and President Poutine. And these lonely observer saw a "Longueville" in a truly unbelievable shape, sharp shots and with power to shake any huge glacier up there.

The"Baron", not allowing any comments normally, made that only statement: "Lynch, Poor man Lafite or Mouton, be very ready. Past is fake, present reckless and your future will hurts".

To even make the fight really special, once in a lifetime, it seems that the comments during the fight will be made by the "One and only" 1966 Haut-still youngster-Brion. The round number cards will be presented by two of the most reputated young ladies in alternance, the 1999 "Oh you pretty thing" Palmer and the 1999 "Truly something" Margaux. Judge for points each round, by these legends that are the 1989 "i miss you" Trotanoy, 1989 Conseillante "the ruler" and the 1989 "boxing" Comptesse... ONCE IN A LIFETIME BABY!

In the backgroung, some people say that if the "Liberty Purple Baron" fail again, well he have well prepared hid 3 sons (2000, 2005 and 2010 Baron) to continue the "family battle" with the sons of "The Poor Man Mouton" in the future... And in a philosophical way, with a tear in their eyes, these people confirm that on the long run, the Baron familly will be the " best" familly in the next 30 years...

Vallejo, California.

The "Purple Baron" left the city of Vallejo this morning, after a short stop at the gym. By coincidence, before leaving, one of the new generation figther was in the vicinity, and went in the ring for a few training punches with the 1989 Pauillac. After one minute, what was supposed to be fun, turned out to be "the youngster" trying to bull punch the Baron. The Baron took some punches, but when decide to open the machine, the "New kid on the block" 2012 Barde-Haut was KO before noticing what really happened... From people who were at the gym, THE BARON seems very ready for "The poor man Mouton" tonight...

The '89 Lynch, having taken this fight on short notice, is resting comfortably after a jarring cross-country flight.
Jimmy L. B. How reports that he has grave concerns about the the rules for and possible rigging of this fight.

Nicola:
If you read this:
We are going to uncork the wines at the beginning and let them sit for about an hour before we get to the blind tasting flight.
So don't uncork your bottle before you get there.

Comtesse was overhead quoting Muhammad Ali:

"Impossible is just a word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."

Enjoy everyone and safe travel.

Better wake that Lunch Bags up, Jim, he's sleepy and young, like a teenager at 7 am, and the Comtesse will awe him into a humble silence with her beauty and charm, her elegance and sophistication, her poise and balance, her utter perfection.

All 3 were great wines. The Lynch suffered by being the least ready. The Baron had the best bouquet, classic and cool, and I thought the Lalande had the best palate of the 3.
