Simply a Côtes du Rhône, but a very interesting one. Nice red cherry color. A nice nose, full of concentrated red berries, bay leaves, black pepper, light blue fruits, and some mineral earth. In mouth, nice concentration, ripe sunny tannins, lots of them, sunny dry earth with crushed sligtly sweet dark red berries, jerky meat and blueberries. With that light alcohol (14.5%) black pepper medium long finish. Very nice, robust, and quite a nice body. Excellent and clearly from the Gigondas terroir. Tn: 89-90.

P.s. I can't believe we won't have any Rhône wines in SF, but c'est la vie!

Re: 2014 Saint-Cosme Les Deux Albion
This wine is one of my regular purchases of Cotes du Rhones every year. There certainly are cheaper bottlings, but I think the quality of this wine tends to be pretty high for cost.

A perennial favorite Côtes du Rhône here too. I agree with Nic and Jon.
