Lucky you Jim. I predict that you'll give that wine a nice review, and a rating around 94.

Montrose seem to always excel in all type of vintages in the last 27-31 years!

We got this wine LAST YEAR at $39.99.
And, yes, I am rating it 94 points.
Notes to follow.

Does it taste as good as a $90 bottle of 2002 Montrose?

If I had been sure that I could receive shipments from Mac's I would have bought every '02 on the sale.

You're darn tootin' Nic.
You're darn tootin'.

This little fella is a 94 pointer, straight on.
It is 2002 + Montrose, which equals = what JimHow looks for in a Medoc.
What can I say.
Wood. Cedar. Sternness. Classic. Stoicism. Spartan. Purple. More cedar. North of Lafite, as you would expect.
I'm too tired right now to get up but I bet when I do go over to the counter it is going to say 12.5%.
Great finish.
OK, it says 13% on the back label, big deal.

Rating: 94 points.

P.S. Bill, why we did not buy every 2002 that was out there on the floor that day is beyond me.
We bought a lot, but we still blew a HUGE opportunity.
