Shameless Hucksterism: Online Auction at Zachys

Post by Tom In DC »

Well, one of the costs of moving to Colorado was that the cellar had to be pruned. And by pruned, I mean what's left during the winter of those Cabernet vines in the Northern Medoc.

Zachys current online auction is the result of this cellar reduction. Please take a look and tell all your well-heeled friends. Hopefully this is NOT a chance to bottom-fish many BWE favorites! :D

Jim's all over those GPLs. I know because his screed was perfectly timed to depress the price. Bank.

GPL is clearly the "New Lynch Bages, which is the New Lafite" of Pauillac, that eminently masculine of appellations!

Wow, Tom. I hope you saved enough to protect you and Gail from the snow.

If you had used K&L instead of Zachys I would be bidding like crazy. Thanks for protecting my wallet. :)

I couldn't get past the first page. I felt dirty looking at that even. But, I can understand. Wine tastes lousy at altitude. It's the low barometric pressure. Right, Patrick? Patrick? (He must be too busy figuring out his bids to respond).
