Very nice hommage à M. Pontallier. One of my fondest memories, and one of my peak wine experiences, was the BWE visit to Ch. Margaux in 2005 and the dinner conversation sitting next to Paul Pontallier. We talked about everything from corks vs screwcaps to the Iraq war. A well-rounded, truly gentle gentleman. Gone way too soon.
