***DC '18: March 22-25: Hotel Thread***

Thought I would start a thread for those of us staying over in hotels.

Based on posts in the other thread, assuming they’re up to date, the Washington Marriott Georgetown looks to be shaping up as BWE Central. It’s at 1221 22nd St NW in the West End neighborhood a few blocks from Georgetown and a few blocks from Dupont Circle. Stefan and Lucie, Susan and Rob, Chris and Marjorie, and Peggy and I have reservations there. I’m seeing rooms currently going for $224/night.

There are less expensive alternatives. Nic has a room at the Liason Capitol Hill near the restaurant at $140/night.

I've got a good room at the Hyatt Regency at 400 New Jersey Avenue, I'll keep it at least for now, I can cancel up to 72 hours beforehand.
I'm just a walk or quick ride away from you guys at the Marriott, and across the street from Nic/JeanFred.

I just also booked at the Georgetown Marriott for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Free breakfast promotion, whoopie.

Madison (Hilton) via Travelzoo $129-$169 per night … Thursday-Sunday through June 30. Nice hotel includes parking for those driving.
