BWE '18: Oysters near WH? National Portrait Gallery?

Post by JimHow »

I'll post more on last night's dinner after I get feeling back in my arms.
Hopefully a cup of coffee will help.
Stefan and Lucie talked about going to that oyster place near the White House.
I'd also like to go see the presidents portraits gallery at some point over the weekend, I hear it gets packed I'm wondering if Friday is better than Saturday.
I need coffee....

Old Ebbitt Grill on 15th street across from Treasury is the place to go for oysters. Good list and corkage permitted.

We did indeed go to Old Ebbitt Grill across from Treasury, mr. Vino, we had a great time.
Stefan uncorked a bottle of the St. Innocent Momtazi special bottling, what was that Bill, a 2012?
I really, really liked it a lot. It was great with the oysters.
It was a great Friday afternoon treat.
Love these DC conventions!
