2005 Beau Soleil , Pomerol

Decided to have a glass during the afternoon while watching my one golf tournament of the year, The Masters. I bought several of these when released and have cellared since. This is my first bottle/observation. No formal notes. Has a nice nose of red cherries, Taste profile and nose are quite similar with little tannins left. I would guess that the fruit is starting to fade just a tad. More than serviceable, actually very pleasant. My only experience with lesser Pomerols has been La Point and Guillot. This bottle of Beau Soleil would easily better my experience with the other two.

Thanks for the update. I've got a spectrum of vintages from this estate hidden away and need to pull them some of them. Been nursing a cold for a few days and haven't been getting my RDA of merlot!
