2010 Barde Haut, Saint Emilion, Bordeaux

Post by KWP »

High pitched nose with smoke, black and blue fruits, licorice, florals and earth. Palate is supple and integrated with graphite, black cherry, plums and cassis, with a savory lick of acid that keeps it from being too polished. Long finish and very enjoyable wine with 5-10 years ahead of it to hit peak, and stuffing to last longer.

Thanks kwp for the report. All reports on 2010 Barde-Haut have been very positive here.

Unfortunately, i missed it when it was in store, and since then, i feel like i missed something very good.

KWP glad to see the BH worked out 4 u.
I think I did report on this wine last year.

I believe my response was:
"This wine is Not bordeaux"

More like a travesty of grave proportions.

A chacun son gôut.

Sure you didn’t mean "a travesty of St. Emilion proportions?"
