Hmm as for sparkling a 2004 Pol Roger I had with my old law school buddies in Boston was in a good place.
As for the other wines, I drank about 98% Bordeaux this year.

Red: 1986 Mouton

White: n/a

Bordeaux specifically (you can choose another if it is your red wine of the year): 1958 Haut Brion

Most promising Bordeaux discovery: Siran

Eclipses the rest of the year although they were some stonking good wines...
