??? BWE 2019 ??? Any Food Allergies/Restrictions/Preferences

Anyone coming on Friday or Saturday that has any food allergies or restrictions? We're using caterers in banquet rooms so making allowances at the last minute won't be as easy as when we're in restaurants with full menus.

Please PM me or reply here so that we can attempt to make accommodations.

Personally, I'm allergic to anything that wasn't prepared by a Michelin-starred chef, but I'll just tough it out and enjoy the grand wines and even grander company!

The caterers we’ve contracted both come with excellent reps and track records, and we can definitely accommodate dietary restrictions if you chime in here or via PM soon.

We will also solicit feedback on menu options soon as well (eg who wants osso buco on Friday? Sous vide lobster tails on Saturday?). PRO: We can come up with 3-4 entree choices for each night, CON: we’ll have to pick our choices in advance.

I can't do shrimp but have no problems with scallops, oysters, crabs, lobster or mussels.

Peggy has a life threatening allergy to all shellfish, even external contact.
Rocky Mountain oysters should be OK.

My sister lived in Germany for many years, and determined the key to survival was, whenever queried about food, to append 'mit speck' to whatever the order was.

So my food preferences would be 'mit speck'

Nalan is badly affected by shellfish, even if only a drop of sauce, but not quite as dangerous as Peggy.
