I was never much of a champagne drinker, but within the last year or so, we've started trying some different things.
I was surprised to find that I actually quite like vintage rose, hence this latest try:
2000 Veuve Clicquot Rose: a bit darker than most rose champagnes that I've tried, but still pink (not almost brown like Krug rose). Fresh and fruity, rather dry, not tart at all. Went well with a warm chocolate chip cookie, cretan that I am.
I scored a good deal on this recently from my wine merchant.
