St Innocent Chardonnay - any good?

St Innocent Chardonnay - any good?

I am a big fan of their reds, but can't recall ever having had their whites. And now I see their 2016 Chardonnay for a keen price. Worth loading up? How Burgundian is it?

It is a serviceable chardonnay but is not comparable to a good white Burgundy. We drink quite a bit of it as it is fairly priced and better than alternatives. For my taste it is better than more expensive CA chardonnays. Please email me the source for the 2016 after you buy what you want.

IMO, the best St. Innocent white wine is the pinot blanc, but we drink much more chardonnay than pinot blanc.

SI Chardonnays are good but not the best Oregon has to offer. I prefer Walter Scott and Lingua Franca. Though be warned, Lingua Franca is not a QPR. You pay for the quality. I also like Roserock Chards. Made by Drouhin, they offer a better price point since they are not "estate" wines.

Ok, thanks. I bought one to try, at $18 it seems like I can't go wrong and we never seem to have enough white wine around anyway...

Oregon Chardonnay is my current favorite.

SI is a good value by not top tier. I agree about their PB. We had a 14 PG the other day and it was very nice.
