Time for another Zoom tasting....

Post by JimHow »

I've received several requests to set up another Zoom tasting.

Let's do it!

I’d propose next Sunday. By then we should know whether we need to find some good champagne for 1/20/21 or some cyanide.

If on Sunday, it depends on the time for us. We have a family zoom dinner every Sunday at 7 PM Central.

Stefan, if we start at 6pm eastern time, that’s 5pm for you, that’ll give you and Lucie a couple hours, no? I’m contemplating the BWE Zoom lasting only an hour and a half or so anyway.

If available, I'm in. That weekend I am planning to move my remaining wines from storage in Chicago to a local storage facility. The trip is still on for now, but the Covid trends are not looking good at the moment.

Shall we shoot for 6pm eastern time on Sunday, November 8th, pending confirmation from Stefan?

I have a Zoom account, I'll send out the link closer to the event.

...And remember, no discussion of Covid.

Or politics.

And I think we will go back to the rotating system of people talking, I think think that was the method that worked best. David and I can lead the discussion again.

I think the theme should be: "Fine northern Medoc, or anything else you want to drink."

We’d be up for it, especially as we have just had a new lockdown announced.

I just got back from getting a Covid test and now have to wait 48-72 hours for results and then still quarantine for 14 days. Nothing but time on my hands. It's been 5 days since I was potentially exposed. I feel fine but I'm happy to get tested for peace of mind. Ohh the sacrifice! I have to live in the basement next to wine cellar.
