Hi Guys,
I'm really a fan of this château.
I bought this wine years ago in a supermarket at a very competitive price.
Twenty years after the vintage, I really didn't expect this 5th growth to be as good as it was.
The color was vigorous, the nose refined and subtle, and there was surprising authority on the palate. Only the length could make it pale in comparison to more exalted - and tremendously more expensive growths.
The estate's pricing policy would seem to have remained reasonable. I had their white wine (2015 vintage) not long ago, made with some curious grape varieties. It was good too, but perhaps more of an oddity than anything else.
Best regards,
Alex R.

Nice. Same here. I rated that estate high in my revised classification, #33, ahead of some other very high quality wines.
And, of course, we'll never forget that special greeting we received there during the 2015 Bordeaux trip.

A perennial sleeper. I’be always been a big fan of the 00 version, and as you note Alex, prices remain quite reasonable. 2019 du Tertre futures have caught my eye, but I have resisted buying so far.
