We'll be there if it is OK not to drink Bordeaux.

Would be fun, but I will have to await a zoom during a weekend. Enjoy the wines!

Best, Dan

Me too I can't make it, as it is one of my training/running night.

As non Bordeaux wines will be opened, I feel less guilty!

Have fun.

Not 100% sure yet. If I join in I think I'll open the 2018 La Dame de Montrose I just bought.

It was good to visit with you all tonight. I didn't think I would need to plug my computer in while I was downstairs. Wrong.

Another great BWE Zoom. The Champagne, I was drinking was Andre Clouet Rose NV that is made from 100% Grand Cru Pinot Noir, 10% of which is still red wine. Very flavorful but a bit on the dry side. I thought it was well worth the $50 price.

Great to see everyone. Glad we're inching closer to normal. Also glad I opened the L'eglise clinet 1997 tonight. It didn't need a lot of air but has turned into a really beautiful claret from a cool vintage. Very BWE style wine. Great color, pretty fruit and floral notes plus just enough structure to keep me sipping and interested without gulping. Yet somehow i've polished off almost the whole bottle which I rarely do on my own

Jim, I checked the abv of the 4 vintages of La Dame de Montrose in my cellar.
2010, which is my personal highest scoring vintage came in at 14%.
2014 and 2016 are at 13.5%.
While 2018 is 14.5%.
I'm tempted to try ordering a case of the 2014 from Bayway in NJ (for less than $40 delivered). I have a case of the 2016.

The 2016 just continues to be a real pleasure for me, the 2018 sounds a little pricey but I'll try to find some 2018 and 2019 when they hit NH.
I've got eleven bottles of the 2016 left, I need to keep my hands off of them for a year or two.

Sorry I missed it too . Glued to the TV playing an NFL
draft game I devised with my son. Should have come to the Zoom, he thrashed me.

Nice seeing/hearing you all, even if you could not see/hear me as I had logged in via remote/VPN work computer (which has some wonkiness with its camera/audio)

I had a couple glasses of a Paso Robles cab, which was blocky/chunky/4 square
