Ordinary Bourgogne is sadly... ordinary Bourgogne.

I opened another bottle of the 2014 Rossignol-Trapet Gevrey Chambertin vieilles vignes last night, and that bottle was less fresh than a another one opened a few weeks ago.

Last night, chill down a bit, it was mainly acidic red berries, kind of dry spices and dry wood. Tannic too. Bizarely it did not went well with the grilled beef faux-filet, but was a better match with the cheeses (brie de Meaux and reblochon from Savoie). Rating : 223T.

There was still a small leftover from the 2018 Bichot Morey St Denis 1er Cru Sorbets, that one was still gorgeous.
