Last night, the 2019 Paul Prieur Sancerre was good. But only good. Missing some acidity in that vintage, while the wine being quite young, is made of citrus, shell and kindof candy flavors. Was ok.

Tonight, the 2019 Faiveley Bourgogne rouge is well made and interesting as a regional wine. Convincing darl red color, nose is a good mix of concentrated red cherries, spices, leaves, and some candy strawberries. Mouth is medium body, with gentle fruit (cherries, red berries), not that much concentrated, but add something like leave, with some oily kirsch tones, and good structure/tannins for a wine "entrée de gamme". very good.

I saw tonight that i can order a first 2019 red Bordeaux, a Castillon. I will order a bottle or two just to see.
