I drink so few right-bankers these days but this bio-dynamic property gets a good profile from the reliable WineDoctor site and a rather keen saleman reduced the price to c£18 a bottle by the case so I went for it.
Serious stuff. Dark but natural colour; restrained but clean minerally-dense Merlot nose; tightly wound and a bit burly on palate but again natural and not overworked. Needs keeping and relaxing - pretty uncompromising at present but impressive, I think. Ambitious but working with the vintage. Very fair price.

Good price, good vintage, good wine.
I used to think that organic/biodynamic/sustainable viticulture was horseshit.
But I've changed my mind.
All the best,
Alex
