Your longest streak of Champagne days
Re: Your longest streak of Champagne days
We had fine italian mousseux on day 7...
Re: Your longest streak of Champagne days
Had to think hard on this one, but it happened recently when my brother visited. At least one bottle of champagne every night thurs-sun. I don't regret any of it

I selected Three, because Two wasn't an option.

Re: Your longest streak of Champagne days
I do not know for certain, but I chose 4 since I often drink Champagne multiple days around the Christmas/New Year holiday break.
Re: Your longest streak of Champagne days
4 is easy--think BWE convention. I don't remember whether we drank Champagne every day of one of our BWE-France excursions. That would give 5-8 days; probably 8 if we did in 2005. On family holidays 3-4 is typical, but I doubt that we ever drank Champagne on 5 consecutive days.
I won't tell Lucie about this thread as she would turn it into a competition and demand that we aim for first place this Xmas season.

Re: Your longest streak of Champagne days
I voted four as stefan noted.
I am taking champagne more seriously these days.
One of our supermarkets had a 25% off off which allowed me to load up on some more Comtes 08 and Krug 168. I tried one of each and they are pretty impressive, albeit both very young, especially the Comtes.
The insiders tip I got and loaded up on is Roederer BdB ‘13 - next one to try. But apparently it is pretty special. I will crack one open soon and report back. In the U.K. this wine tends to disappear down a rabbit hole after its initial release.

So easily 5 days.

It's just a hazy, bubbly blur.

Yeah, that's probably why none of us on our BWE-France trips can remember whether we drank Champagne every day.
