I'll have mine there, MP.

I think I’ll bring a mature cali cab for Friday and save the Togni for the 2031 BWE Convention on the moon (Bezos, Musk, and Branson are likely to try and crash the event from their space station penthouses on the exclusive dark side).

I may switch up Friday and bring a couple of 2005 Red Burgs instead of the Italians I was considering.

Sounds like a good idea, Jon. We could probably use a few. I had originally planned on some red Burgs but we seem to have moved away from that. I might mix it up and bring one as well. Not sure yet. They can get lost in the shuffle next to some bigger reds sometimes.

I figured we were a bit light on red Burgs, and since we are in a "bistro," it seems fitting.

Never turn down a 2005 Burgundy, the greatest vintage from any wine region in known history.

I really haven't figured out what I am bringing on Thursday. Either a burgundy or something from Italy or Chile. But all of my non-Bordeaux wines available are young.

Quite the dilemma.

I think you are talking about Friday? No room for Italian wines at the Pomerol fest

Speaking of which, I’m now thinking I will bring all three of my VCCs, 2001, 2011, and 2015 on Thursday…

Not sure what you mean by young, but of those three options I would generally lean towards burgundy if all in the same age range. There will be so many wines though, I wouldn't stress over it. You could always bring a white as well.

Looking forward to finally meeting/tasting with you in person, Tim!

Ok, I've settled on a Burgundy, a bit young but should be a fun one.

Saturday-Lots of options, input especially welcome here.
1989 Pichon Baron
1989 Beychevelle
1990/1995 Haut Bailly
1982/1989 La Dominique
1989 Las Cases
1986/1988 Climens
What else are you bringing, Joel? Kidding...

Oooh, Nicola brought two bottles of 1990 Haut Bailly to the very first BWE convention in Chicago in February 2001, they were memorable.
Just had the 1989 Beychevelle the other night....its a cracker
