I will plan a Friday event (not where we have been previously) if approved by planning committee. I will also coordinate blooming of cherry blossoms for the weekend.

I might even try to complete the renovation of the Washington Monument though it looks pretty cool now as the scaffolding is illuminated at night. If that doesn't work, I will leap it in a single bound.

As far as I can see the future, I should be there.

It will be my fourth BWE convention in DC, so I consider the US capital city as my second home.

On a different note, may be BWE should charge a 'no-show' fee to people, esp if the convention is an honorary one on their name...

And the mode of payment should be wine currency...

The Alcove Room at Charlie Palmer Steak is available Saturday, MARCH 29. In the past, the dinner there was about $200/person all-in including tax, tip, corkage, NV Champagne starter. Shall I put down a deposit?

They have been keen to what we are all about and very accomodating.

Yes, the event co-ordinator Celeste remembered us from a couple of years back when I started to describe the event. Not sure if that was because I was a pain in the a$$ about all the details, but she sounded enthusiastic about having us back and said she would look at our last contract and honor the per-person rather than per-bottle corkage.
