Re: Happy Thanksgiving BWEers.
Thank you Jim! Now on to Thanksgiving wines. We had a dinner with some band mate's and everyone got a 3lb lobster. So I had an impromptu lesson on wines. Cali Chards lighty oaked and over oaked. Chablis with no oak. Mersault with a perfect balance. A Riesling. And the crowd pleaser Vouvray. I pulled...

Re: Some old school Bordeaux for 70th birthday dinner
Ahhh.... 1982's. So seductive . So smooth. So balanced. So soon gone. Made for a meal. Meat is a great foil for the perfect ripe fruit nature delivered. Wine meant to be part of a leisurely French dinner.

Jim. If either of your immediate parents were born in Canada you are able to become a Canadian citizen. This came into law a few years ago. Just a matter of navigating some paperwork and gathering documents like birth certificates to establish lineage. I'm now getting a Canadian passport with Nic be...

Tried to vote early here in NC. Huge turn out and hour and half wait. We'll try again after the initial swell passes.
