That is a nice cross section of quality Bordeaux that usually mature earlier than many other fine clarets. My 2005 D’Armailhac, stored at 62-64F since release, has drunk well with steak for some time. So it should not be long until yours opens.

In my experience, Jim, there are few Burgundies that require 30+ years to reach their peak even if some can live much longer. For example, virtually everything from 1996, 1999, and 2002 are mature. There are many places in NY that have Pol Roger for less than $50. The basic brut was not so good for a while. We switched from PR to Charles Heidsieck as our house Champagne. PR got better, but for our taste it still is not as good as CH.
