2020 Bordeaux prices...
...seem to be about as reasonable as 2019, no?
Re: 2020 Bordeaux prices...
The ‘19s were released for less due to the COVID discount coupled with the economic turmoil of the time and while the ‘20s were more, outside a few of the top performing estates the pricing has pretty much remained unchanged.
When I bought the Giscours the week before last, the case of ‘19 was $635 and the ‘20 was $671 which supports the above.

Giscours made their best ever wine in 2020, better than the 2019, 2016, 2010, 1978, 1975, 1970

Depends on what time frames you look at. The 2019s were substantially less than 2020s en primeur. Since their initial offerings, the 2019s increased in cost more than the 2020s, so they’re now comparable.
Generally speaking (there are always exceptions), 2019 was perhaps the only vintage in the last 10-15 years where there was a financial advantage to purchasing futures.
