Wine store to Boston

Post by JeanFred »

I'm going to Boston this weekend via Interstate 93. What are the best wine stores on my way or in Boston?

Is the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet the best place? If so, Which one is the best store on my way?

Both NH and Mass suck, JF, there are no deals to be found in either state. Good luck in Boston!

NH isn't what it used to be. I can find some good deals but more often than not I walk out not buying anything.

In MA in the Boston area the best prices are at Rapid Liquors in Stoneham on rt28. The best selection is Gordon's in Waltham. Avoid Marty's in Newton, prices are insane. Downtown Boston is Federal W&S but you'll pay top dollar.

I second the plug for Gordon’s. JF, their inventory is online so you can browse and see if anything there is worth the side trip for you.

If you’re looking for some large Bordeaux formats, TotalWine has a nice eye candy selection at a number of their stores (Natick specifically), again inventory is online.
