A hard week

Post by Nicklasss »

Last Saturday morning, i learn that a friend commit suicide. She was 40 yo, mother of a 1.5 yo daugther. Very hard, hiding their couple problems, her problem, isolate herself… sadness, incomprehension, anger…

Today, my favorite uncle, the youngest of the family, died. He arrived 3 days ago, for a visit in Saguenay (he lives in Gatineau). His health went down in the last 3 years (he smoke most of his life), and 2 days ago feel not well, went to hospital in ambulance. 90 % arteries blockage. They tried something today, he left on the surgery table. Had so many great time with him in my life… thank tou for all uncle (older brother) Sylvain.

Terrible news Nic. It's hard enough losing friends and family at end of life which we are having to deal with more and more. Lost two good friends as well in February but they were of an age that you accept. When tragedy strikes people before their time especially when one takes their own life which should be preventable with appropriate care is the ultimate definition of tragedy. Our hearts are with you Nic and unfortunately we may see less of you in the Ottawa Valley with the loss of your uncle. Condolences mon amis!

Thta is very sad, Nic. Suicide is so hard to accept because to most of us, it seems incomprehensible. And losing family members at too early an age is always difficult. Hopefully next week will be better.

I am so sorry Nic to hear this news. Life is so precious, and the unexpected nature of both of them passing is really hard.

Prayers to your family and that of your friend during this difficult time.

Condolences, Nic. Losing close friends and relatives is a hard part of life. It is especially difficult when the departed is young.
