2021 Lindes de Remelluri Rioja

For the price, I like this Rioja. Still young, a bit atypical as it's not heavily oaked with vanilla/balsamic notes.

The 2021 Lindes de Remelluri is dark, with a nose of red fruits (concentrated cherries and raspberries), roasted coffee beans, black berries, and dry soil. Medium-bodied on the palate, with a slightly syrupy richness, earthy flavors, blond tobacco, ripe red cherries, and molasses/caramel. A touch of smoke on the long finish, with minerality and a hint of black pepper. Will age well. Rated 92.
