2023 vintage in Bordeaux

Last night I had dinner with a friend who brought along a generic 2023 Pauillac. It was delicious and drinking well already as well as being exquisitely balanced. I have reason to believe it may have been sourced from (young vines from) Lafite, not least because it reminded me so much of Lafite albeit without the grandeur of the GV.
