2020 Clos de l'Oratoire

Post by JimHow »

Very nice! Fresh, ripe but balanced, 13.5% alcohol, nice structure, drinking well young but will last. Great QPR! Tastes like a St. Emilion, rich but nothing overdone. Will buy more. 94+ points.

Maybe the 2020 is the year? I keep buying this in good/great years and I have never been super impressed. Clearly I need to track down few 2020s.

Same here, Eric, but I’ve had this twice now and have liked it both times.

I enjoyed 2015, so I'll have to track some 2020s down. Cheers

I'm telling you, E, you would like this! Like you I have always "liked" rather than "loved" this wine, but this 2020 I have loved three times in a row now. And the price is right.
