Can you remind me a good locations for buying wines in Paris? Good selection, not overly priced. I remember you named one here a few weeks ago.
Thanks.

For Tim (or other Parisians)
Re: For Tim (or other Parisians)
A few that timmc recommended in the 6e - Dernier Goutte, Maison Millesime (I posted on it here a few weeks ago), and Ambassaode de Borgogne (not visited).
I found that the handful of Nicolas stores around the city were a touch rich on any of the wines I recognized from export markets.
Not sure why, but some things were much cheaper as a category (Champagne I thought) while others were more costly, like cru classe BDX.

Many thanks Arv. Maybe I mixed up, thinking Tim wrote some Paris retailer as he is our local representant, but it was you.
I'll send this info to a friend leaving for Paris tonight.

Re: For Tim (or other Parisians)
Sorry I was late.
In addition to the ones that Arv and Francois mentioned above, I would add Bossetti in the 4th arrondissement, a nice selection of Burgundy wines. Apart from that, depends on what you are looking for.
Cheers,
Tim
