2016 Lafon Rochet. Deep garnet color. Nose of bramble berries. Softer palate than I expected with plenty of soft red fruit. Easy drinker for a chilly wet day with homemade Bo Kho!

I like the 2016 Lafon and as I remember it is accessible but, as with many modern Bordeaux, it has aging potential. It's well balanced, with good acidity, so I think this is easily a 20 year wine.
