Pages not loading

Lately when I try to read threads I usually get the error message

Too Many Requests

The user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time.

The page I clicked for does not load, sometime after 2 or 3 tries.

Is this a problem for anyone else, and is there a fix for it?

I think it happens to all of us sometimes. Certainly does for me.

Just saw the site says there are over 1600 users online, so someone appears to be hitting the site with fake users for whatever reason.

Over 9000 “guests” when I was getting that error message yesterday.
Made me wonder if someone was spoofing my address to generate mutiple logins.

I have doubts about this site’s security, but my knowledge of that topic is nonexistent, so I could be off base.

Yeah, I don't understand these things, with Assistant Manager McCracken on board I'm optimistic we'll get BWE into shape in the year ahead.

Sorry, been offline a bit. I still need to go through and see if we can do a site upgrade. Away this weekend but will try to look at options next weekend.

Whenever I try and post a note, I get:
"This page isn't working" and have to re-load it all the time.
A few times it simply got lost and I had to re-write the note.
That has been happening for some time.
