Questions re '07 Vieux Telegraphe and Paul Autard Cote Ronde
What has been the experience here with these two wines?
What are your thoughts on the prices of $55 for 2007 Paul Autard Cuvee La Cote Ronde and $62 for 2007 Vieux Telegraphe La Crau?
Thanks.

Those prices are not far off the mark. locally the Paul Autard is $50 and the Vieux Telegraphe is $60 then we add 6.25% tax
I haven't tried either one yet.

Thanks gerry, those are the prices at PJs in Manhattan, I'll probably buy some when I'm in town next weekend.

The VT is an excellent 07 CdP - I have drunk 3 already....thought i was had a case but then realized i split it so I am down to 3 left. It is clearly a 93 - 95 pt wine. Your price is about what I paid for it.

Ok thanks Rick, what other 2007 CdPs have you liked?
Re: Questions re '07 Vieux Telegraphe and Paul Autard Cote Ronde
Domaine De La Janasse CdPs have been my favorates
The Chaupin is not to be missed even the regular CdP is very good
The Vieux DonJon is in the same league with Chaupin and the VT
I posted on Solitude tonight also quite nice.
I am sitting here with harry's book on my lap as i was looking up info on mourvedre

Jim,
I just commented on Rick's CdP thread about a recent tasting of 2007 CdPs with my wine tasting group. In general, I think that most of the 2007s will be enjoyable to drink early. My only question was how long lived they will be.
At this tasting my favorites were the Vieux Telegraphe and Mas de Boislauzon, followed just behind by the Grand Veneur Les Origines.

I really liked the 2006 Vieux Telegraphe, I may just have to buy a case of the '07.
