BWE-SF - Sat 3 Aug?

Just off the phone with SF-Ed and we thought to try and rally the BWE-SF troops (and anyone from BWE that happens to be visiting the San Francisco area) for a Bay Area gathering on Sat 3 Aug.
Anyone up for it?

So far its looking like maybe only 6 of us, so if that's the case, we could do it at the cabin in Napa. OK?

Sorry about missing you last weekend MP. Only 2&1/2 days and was held hostage. Hanzell was ok
but I don't think the drive would have been worth it for you. Will have more freedom and time
on next one. Thanks for the tips on the wineries. JM

How about Right Bank? Pomerol in the 40's is a bit of a gap for me (but I'll drink all of yours)

I pulled a few Pomerols last week when I was at my cellar, so let's try to follow that theme.
In any case, even though we'll be in Napa, let's stick with Bordeaux!

And rally we did. Hopefully someone will post notes, but 12 bottles over 7 people including 78 and 98 La Conseillante, a murky 1945 Pomerol (La Pointe?), a tasty 90 Gazin, on and on. Michael P's "cabin" in Napa is a great spot, with a view over the valley and sunset from the deck. Good times.
