Really liked this wine the first time and sipping it again here on the back deck as summer comes upon us.

Mmmm this is so smooth and silky.

Boy this wine is the real deal. It is just seamless. Never had any experience with this estate, I don't think, prior to 2015. I'll get more of the '15 and try out the '16. It is a classy, not big Margaux unlike some others I've had from 20515. I wonder how long this wine is expected to age, generally?

It should be better in 20516.

What did they hit you for that in NH? Its Cellartracker average score is the same as Giscours in 2015, 92.7 points. The big difference is number of bottles with nearly 10,000 of the Giscours logged in but less than 1000 of the Marquis de Terme. I paid around $64 for my Giscours but the price has risen since.
It looks like a good Margaux to have from 2015 if the price is right.

The 2015 is $46.74 when it is on sale in NH, RC, he 2016 is $48.44. I'll buy more of the both when they go back on sale, hopefully during the Bastille Day month of July...

That’s my preferred zip code too.

Never had a Marquis de Terme, but 2015 and Margaux is a mix that can't fail.

I like your comment about the fact that it is not big. We need more of those "not big" red Bordeaux, that are satisfying.

Is it a Fourth Growth? Or Fifth? Me too, don't know too much about that Chateau.

I bought a case of the 2000 back in the day when it was a really sturdy and powerful wine. Recent bottles have been spectacular--subtle and beautifully balanced, with lots of secondary notes. Hopefully the 2015 will follow a similar path. Sounds like it's off to a good start.

Fourth and Jeff seems to like it.
