This event becoming more and more like a zoo. Not sure if I will continue pay ever rising fees to go there, but for a Boudreaux lover, it still creates an amazing opportunity to taste some great wines. So, two wines which stood out for me this year:
’09 Ch. Cheval Blanc: Toasted cedar and tart on a nose, dense and packed with jammy, blueberry fruit, long multilayered finish that goes forever. Fantastic!
’16 Ch. Leoville Las Casses. Pronounced tobacco on a nose, velvety smooth, yet shows both plenty of acid, fruit and power, a bit of lead pencil on a finish. Wonderfully crafted wine.
Cheers, Albert

Re: NY Wine experience 2019
The pictures in WS look pretty crazy for these events.
The Whiskey ones must be appalling.

Re: NY Wine experience 2019
I went to the NY grand tasting a couple of years back and tasted a bunch of high end wines and thought that it was worth the price of admission but also completely agree that the sheer number of people detracts from the experience.
