Hi All,
I was a very occasional poster on the old site and have been lurking on the new site for a while but this article from today's SF Chronicle compelled me to register and log on: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... 1E2K9P.DTL
Seems our BD's constant extolling of the virtues of whoopie pies has become something of a rallying cry and not only can we buy them at our Trader Joe's, but we even have recipes to try to replicate this East Coast phenom here out west! Well done Jim, another victory for whoopie pies.'
On another note, I have been enjoying 2003 Potensac this weekend. Still young but approachable, very Bordeaux and not overripe. Glad to have more.
best,
David

Re: The Insidious Whoopie Pie
Well done, David, very well done, and welcome aboard.
We brought whoopie pies to California on our cross country trip to Napa '02, it has taken eight years to catch on, but better late than never!
Today California... Tomorrow the world!
