it's colder than a witch's nipple up here
damn is it my imagination or are these new england winters getting more and more unbearable
eating some cold friend chicken, celery and carrot sticks (for the eyesight), un pie de la whoopie, washing it all down with a 2010 Cantemerle
it's colder than a bastard out there
not sure when's the last time i've seen so much snow
so i'm going deaf as you can see, i can't do trials any more without hearing assistance, i can't hear the witnesses:
http://www.sunjournal.com/files/imageca ... 121114.jpg
any advice on what i should do about loss of hearing?
i'm losing my eyesight, i'm losing my hearing..
ah well, almost halfway through feb, a week to pitchers and catchers, soon it will be march.
oh wait, march in maine comes in like a wildebeest.

We're trending toward warming, right?
We're all failing at varying rates, Jimbo - hearing aid technology has made incredible strides lately. And give the eyesight a few more years - my recent visits with our own Dr. DavidG have found that my vision is actually improving, presumably because the parts that weren't degrading as quickly before - and thus leading to distortions -- are catching up and getting back to some sort of benevolent equilibrium.
Love the wildebeest, versus the lethargic lion.

I hear they're doing good things with hearing aids, Tom, as for my eyes, I don't know, I've had to strengthen my prescription every year since I was 4.
I have an epic astigmatism, every time I let an optometrist take a look at my prescription they go "Hey Joe, get over here, you gotta take a look at this!"

Yes, I wished I aged as well as a great Bordeaux. Jim, have you considered Lasik?

I don't mind wearing glasses, Jay, I've had them since like age 3.
I'm too tired to try anything new.

Jim, get thee to an Otolaryngologist. They can do a full exam, remove wax and get a hearing test. Then options can be discussed.

Long overdue!
It's been coming on for five years.
Hopefully it is just wax in the ears!

They're calling for another 20 inches up here this weekend...

Here too Jim, it has been a very cold winter. Many night at -35 F in January and February. I went a few time cross country skiing at -25 F, and geez, it is cold!
I'm enjoying a 2012 Tilenus Godello tonight, that is very good but unfortunately not very complex. I'll probably go for some red Bourgogne tomorrow.
But it will be another very cold weekend.

Minus 10F temps predicted for the weekend.

That's just mean, stefan.
Cross country skiing at -25F, Nic? I'm going to start questioning your sanity!
My phone is telling me about cold weather/wind chill alerts at home, but the actual temperature in Buffalo is ten degrees F colder than the wind chill at home, and the BUF wind chill - with blowing snow -- is almost -20F.
